Chppah is finished

Our chuppah is finished! Sherry has sewn all the squares made by our friends into thus wonderful wedding canopy for our ceremony. We are just thrilled with what sge has accomplished and can't wait to see it in person. Since we have many friends who cant make it i decided this would be a wau to have them be part of our special day. It afterward will be turned into a quilt to hang in our living room. WE want to say thank you to all our friends who participatedfor being part of this special project. and a very special thanks to two ladies, annie in England for doing some special embroidery squares and of course Sherry for the countless hours in trying to figure out gow ro make this all come together.

Love you all!

Shepherds Hooks makeover

WE bought these hooks on craigs list to hold the wedding decorations. Well of course white is boring and they needed to be jazzed up. So using techniques that i learned from classes with Sherry Goshon the Queen of Spray Paint they have now been raised to elegant. they are bronze with a touch of gold that accents the hearts on the bottom of the base.

Play Day!

Saturday we had playday with Jean. Iy was absolutely wonderful as we worked on creating the plates for the tablesettings. They are embellished with peacock feathers and some have micro marbles or glitter. Look at all the yummy colors. This is only half of what we have to do as still have other colors to do yet. Jean worked on the bottom tier of the cupcake tower and that is another post which will be coming soon as it is drying.

Favor Sneak Preview

Since we are artists I needed to come up with siomething to be different for our favors. This is the embellishments for our favors. Since some of oour guests read our blog I cant give everything away on here. I created these using Jean and Sherry's face molds. They will be hung on the favors and people afterwards can use them as fan pulls, ladies can add a pin back and use them as a pin or just hang them.
